Vond dit voornamelijk erg grappig, uit een persbericht van het Belgische festival Eurorock:

Bad news, The Sisters of Mercy wont play Eurorock 2000. The contract specifically forbids use of the words Goth and Doom in connection with the event (as we did in the newsletter). They are very tired of being wrongly labeled as a goth band. Obviously, the addition of more and more exclusively goth/doomrock bands to the bill "has turned into a festival which has no place for the band or their sensibilities". The organization received this information 2 weeks ago.

Nieuwe maand dus een hoop nieuwe cd-recensies bij Live XS, zoals Glittering 2000, Lolita Storm, Ween, Titan, International Noise Conspiracy, Metal Molly en het Anti-Pop Consortium. Qua live recensies onder meer Idlewild, Popswitch (was vroeger Plunk), Venus & Mitch, Tahiti 80, Bettie Serveert en nog maals Metal Molly.

In het Parool recensies van de nieuwe Eminem en Brassy platen en in Onbewoond Eiland de favoriete platen van DJ Nubian.

Helemaal in het nieuw is de site van The Boombap, een erg goed Nederlandstalig hiphop webzine. Met nu onder meer een interview met Blackalicious en natuurlijk veel reviews van bijvoorbeeld het Drum Rhythm festival en ook hier de nieuwe Eminem cd.

Oh, en niet vergeten vanavond Belle & Sebastian in Top Of The Pops, half 9, BBC1.
